A New Season......

Well, things have been a little different with me recently. I have taken the major roll of joinning the Carbondale cross country team. This might not sound like a big deal to most people, but it is quite a commitment. I mean, practice every day at 3:30-5:00, two-a-days (which means that I run at 6:30 and 3:30 in one day) twice a week, workouts twice a week, and a long run on sundays is pretty tough. Not only that, but I end up running 30-40 miles a week. This can sometimes take a toll on your body. The good news is, my work is getting paid off. I have the privilege of being on the top five of the whole team. My first meet is this thursday and I am very excited. I have been Praying and believe that God will help me get through this running season strong, and succeed at every meet.

Ok, so this is sort of random. but. While in lansing michigan for an aguire the fire event, I was able to do some crazy things!!!!! I was able to se my 2 favorite bands in the world. TENTH AVENU NORTH, AND LACRAE. And, don't ask me how, but I got to play an awesome game of basketball with tenth avenue north.              P.S. I was not able to get lecrae's autograph. But playing basketball with mike and tenth avenue north was pretty cool.

The new year

I believe that this year is going to be a big year for me personaly. God spoke to me recently through his word. He said in Psalms 25:3, No one whose Hope is in You will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. God has given me a revelation of Hope and Righteousness these last few weeks. He has shown me that If I would just trust in the name of Jesus, if I would keep him on the throne in my life. Then He alone will guide me. It says in Proverbs 10:24, "What the wicked dreads will overtake him, but what the righteous desire will be granted". Our job is to be righteous. But How?
Righteousness can't be abtained, because righteousness means that you are right with God, and to be right with God requires perfectness and we are not perfect. But because of Jesus, the one perfect man, because of his death for our sins, We are made PERFECT. So all we have to do to be righteous is simply give up to him, submit our life, and put him on the throne. We have to live for him no matter what. We have to follow the laws of his word. And when we mess up, we repent, and go on, knowing that he has forgiven you. God, right now is looking for a righteous generation. He is calling you! Just say Yes.

Eddie James concert

last night our church took a group of people to an eddie james concert in M-boro. Jesus worked through eddie and his worship team so powerfuly. The 2 and a half hours of worship was amazing and it changed my life like never before. I was also impacted by the testimoneys that were shared by some of the people on his team and the dramas they did. Jesus truly changed peoples lives.
